Shipping and Packaging

How do freight deliveries work?

Large orders (typically 400+ medium-to-large boxes) may ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight instead of a parcel carrier like FedEx.

With LTL freight, your flat, unassembled boxes are stacked, wrapped, and secured on a pallet for shipment. The freight service selected at checkout includes only basic delivery. Basic delivery means the recipient is responsible for providing a forklift or loading dock to offload the pallet from the truck.

Liftgates and scheduled appointments must be added upon checkout.

What is included with LTL freight?

Your freight shipment includes:

  • Palletized shipment with protective wrapping
  • Curbside delivery

LTL freight does not include:

  • Guaranteed transit times
  • Inside delivery
  • Assistance unloading or unpacking the pallet
  • Moving the pallet upstairs or into a building

If you need inside delivery, white-glove service, pallet removal, or other delivery upgrades, please contact our Customer Service team before or shortly after placing your order.

How long does freight shipping take?

Freight transit times vary depending on the carrier, destination, and shipping lane. Because freight shipments travel through multiple distribution terminals, delivery dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Please note:

  • Transit times are measured in business days.
  • Tracking estimates often show when your shipment will arrive at the local freight terminal, not your final delivery address.
  • Residential deliveries requiring an appointment may add 1–2 business days.

Can freight be delivered to my home?

Yes. We can ship freight orders to residential addresses.

Please keep in mind:

  • Residential freight deliveries are made curbside unless additional services are arranged.
  • You must request a liftgate to offload the pallet from the truck.
  • The freight carrier will usually contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.
  • Large freight trucks require adequate access to your delivery location.

If you need inside delivery or have concerns about truck access in your neighborhood, please get in touch with us before placing your order.

Can the freight driver help unload my order?

Freight drivers are generally not responsible for unpacking pallets or moving shipments inside your building.

If you require additional delivery services, such as inside delivery, white-glove service, or pallet removal, please contact our Customer Service team before your order ships. Additional charges may apply.
