Artwork Guidelines
Will I see a proof for my order? How do I know if my art is printable?
All orders with custom printing receive a 2D digital proof (PDF) via email within 24 hours of your order submission. Our Prepress team will include notes regarding any artwork concerns they encounter when preparing your artwork for proofing. See this article for more information on resolving artwork concerns during proofing.
As the customer, you are responsible for reviewing spelling, design layout, colors, scannable codes, and specifications. Packlane is not responsible for errors approved on proofs.
If you haven't received a proof within 24 hours of placing your order, please check your Spam/Junk, Promotions, and Updates folders or message our Support team.
Is there a limit to how many artwork revisions I can make?
You can make changes and go through as many proof rounds as you need to get your box design the way you want it. You can also cancel your order during the proofing process if necessary.
What do I need to know about proof approval?
Your production turnaround time cannot start until the proof is approved. Any delays in proofing may result in an update to your estimated delivery date.
About your proof: After checkout, we'll email you a digital proof so you can check your design before anything goes to press. You have 3 business days to approve it or request changes, and we'll send reminders along the way.
If we haven't heard from you by the 4th business day, we'll approve the proof for you and start production so your delivery date doesn't keep slipping. Whatever's on that proof is what we print — so give it a look as soon as it lands.
Once the order is in production, no further changes or cancellations can be made.
What if I placed a reorder?
Reordering is a great way to have us pull the previous artwork and send it to production as quickly as possible. We will still send a proof for your confirmation.
