How thick is the material used for making my boxes and how much can they hold?
The thickness of the board that is used to produce your box largely depends on the dimensions and style.
The default board (material) for each box style is as follows:

- Small/medium Mailer Boxes can be requested in B-Flute if preferred.
- Thickness values shown represent raw material thickness and are approximate. The physical thickness of your finished box may decrease due to the material's natural compression over time, especially after production, shipping, and storage.
- Maximum weight will depend on the arrangement of contents inside the box, the strength of tape/glue used to assemble your box, and average shipping or handling conditions.
- The ECT (Edge Crush Test) rating measures a corrugated box’s stacking strength; it indicates how much pressure the sides of a corrugated box can handle before collapsing when weight is placed on top of the box. Higher ECT ratings mean a box can support more weight during storage and shipping.
What if I need a thicker corrugated material option?
