Lithographic Lamination
April 25, 2022 08:35am
In litho lamination, artwork is printed directly onto the liner paper as described in our article on Lithography (often onto a white SBS sheet). This liner paper is then glued/laminated onto corrugated cardboard and die-cut into the final product.
This production method combines the structural integrity of cardboard with a high print quality method that is otherwise very difficult to achieve due to the fluting and thickness of cardboard. Litho lamination is often used for products such as: retail signs, retail packaging, point-of-purchase displays, and floor stand displays.
