Shipping and Packaging

Contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible, and we'll be happy to help update your shipping address before your order ships. 

If your order has already shipped, address changes may incur carrier fees and cannot be guaranteed. Parcel carriers such as FedEx do not allow shipping address changes once they are out for delivery. 

If your order has shipped via freight (LTL), a reconsignment fee must be approved before delivery to the updated address.  

All changes to shipping addresses while in transit will incur processing delays of 1-3 days.

We ship most orders via standard parcel services like FedEx or UPS and larger orders via LTL freight, neither of which can deliver to a Post Office box. Please provide a street address when placing your order. 

It can be quite expensive to ship outside North America, but we do ship to Canada and Puerto Rico via parcel services. Currently, we are not equipped for international freight shipping. Please enter your complete address in the checkout form to get a shipping estimate before placing your order. 

Depending on your location and delivery address, your government may require you to pay taxes or import fees/duties on your order. If in doubt, we highly recommend consulting a Customs Broker who can assist you with this matter. Packlane does not collect taxes/duties for international shipments; you will be responsible for paying them upon receipt of your order. 

Please note: Customs may often hold shipments to check the contents of the package and confirm that the value of the goods was declared accurately. This may delay the estimated delivery date shown on the confirmation checkout page. 

For most orders, we ship using a parcel service such as FedEx. However, larger orders (over 180 lbs.) are more likely to ship on a pallet via LTL freight. 

If you are expediting production on your order, we strongly recommend selecting an expedited shipping method to help minimize shipping time. 

If your order is over 180 lbs., contact our Customer Service team for expedited delivery. We'll help determine whether faster freight shipping options are available for your order. 

We ship from several production facilities, all within the USA. 

Depending on your order's specifications and delivery address, your order will be routed to the best available match for the shortest possible transit time.

All Packlane boxes are shipped flat to help reduce shipping costs and ensure they arrive safely. 

• Mailer Boxes are shipped unassembled. You can easily assemble them using our assembly guide.  
• Shipping Boxes arrive with the side seam already glued. Pop them open, then fold and tape the top and bottom flaps as needed.  
• Product Boxes also arrive with the side seam already glued. Simply pop them open, then fold and close the top and bottom flaps. 

Most orders ship via a parcel carrier such as FedEx and may arrive in multiple custom-sized packages. 

Orders weighing 180 lbs. or more are shipped on a pallet via LTL freight. Unless otherwise arranged, LTL freight deliveries are made curbside. 

Large orders may ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight rather than via a parcel carrier like FedEx. Freight orders are shipped on a pallet and include curbside delivery. Liftgates and scheduled appointments are not included in standard LTL services. If required, the accessorial must be specified at checkout. 

Please note that freight deliveries to residential addresses require a scheduled appointment and a liftgate, and do not include guaranteed transit times, inside delivery, or unpacking services.

When you order multiple items, we'll note that your orders are related, but we can't guarantee they'll ship together. 

Because each item may have different proof approval times and production requirements, they may enter production at different times or on different production lines. As a result, your items may ship separately.

We can only offer combined shipping when the combined mass of the orders meets the minimum for LTL freight, and the orders have the same size and box style. In that case, we may be able to hold all the orders until they are fully completed so they can be stacked and packed together on pallet(s). Boxes of different sizes/styles usually require separate shipping to prevent damage to the smaller size(s). 

Combined shipping cannot be requested for any Rush priority or expedited ship method orders, as we need to ship these out as soon as they are completed and expedited freight service is not available. Holding them back to ship together via standard LTL freight poses a high risk for delaying the shipment of both orders. 

Otherwise, we note that your jobs are related but cannot guarantee combined shipping. Due to the prepress and manufacturing processes, they may enter production at different times or even on different production lines.
